Our Mission
The Second Life AIDS Memorial Garden was originally set up as a quiet place for people to visit, remember those who have
left us, and think about those who are still fighting.
It was at the first Second Life World AIDS Day Memorial Service that a number of people asked "What can we do?",
and so this site was set up by Ethan LeSabre. It is the plan of the AIDS Memorial Garden group to raise the awareness
of HIV/AIDS in the world of Second Life.
Our goal is to educate the public about HIV and AIDS and to encourage the
practice of safe sex in both Second Life and Real Life. It is hoped that, by promoting safer sex and safer drug use we can
fight the spread of HIV and less people will die. Together we can all make a difference.
